Rat? Dog? Marmot? Perhaps a strange ferret?
I have no idea what it really is.

I’m currently listening to the audiobook “Earthborn”, the fifth and final book in the “Homecoming” series by Orson Scott Card (an utterly awsome author), and I’ve undoubtedly drawn some inspiration from one of the species there. The Diggers (also know as Devils, lower people or tunnelers depending on whome you speak to) are large ratlike creatures. They are strong, cunning and vicious, yet some tribes are honorable and civilized beings.
My rat-thing looks nothing like what I imagine the Diggers to be, but the image must have come from somewhere, and I’m damn sure I’ve never seen any rodents the past few weeks.

That being put out of the way, I’m happy to inform you that I’ve begun on a new comic strip. Just the storyboard so far, but things usually speed up once I have that in place…

It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything with my warlock, Lumiana. For well over a year she’s been stuck at level 46, with her inscription locked at 300/300.

A few days ago I got enough emblems on my warrior to buy a few heirloom items, namely the Tattered Dreadmist items. These ended up in Lumiana’s mailbox and has proven to be a real boon to leveling.
Getting +20% XP for all mobs and quest rewards adds up, and it adds fast. Today I reached level 49 and I’m already 7 bars on the way to level 50 (yay, inscription training).

I’ve quested a little, but the main chunk of XP has come from running instances using the random dungeonfinder.
I’ve been to Zul’Farrak (great run) and the Sunken Temple (horrible instance), but what’s been REALLY on the top of my mind today has been Maraudon.
Out of my nine trips to instances today, seven had taken place in Maraudon.

Not from the start, thankfully, but radther from the pool 2/3 of the way in. In the olden day you could get a staff that allowed you to teleport in to that very spot.

Anyways, I’ve whacked Landslide 7 times today, and I’ve nailed the princess to the floor 7 times today.
Decent loot, LOADS of Xp, and a bunch of nice strangers.
All in all, a good day in Azeroth. :D

Murloc meets Ogre?
A rather quick sketch I made today at the beginning of a whole-day meeting at work. Unfortunately there’s a lot of very fine and light lines that wouldn’t scan well.

Hello there and welcome back to the Daily Doodles of yours truly.
Unfortunately I didn’t get anything out yesterday due to illness. I’m feeling slightly better today so while I haven’t had the energy to draw something today at least I took the time to scan in a sketch I did a while ago.In fact, this cyborg thingie was drawn last november during a latenight meeting at work. Yeah, I bet you can imagine how fun that was.

I hope my health continues to improve and that I’ll be able to draw something special for you tomorrow. :)
