Got a little WoW time in today, and did my first ever heroic run. I’m usually a protection specced Warrior and prefer to tank, but due to my gear being JUST a little too crappy I was delegated the duty of DPSing. Thus my second specc of Arms instead and into the Halls of Lightning we stepped…
First bummer… Forgetting my twohander weapon in the bank, so I had to run the whole instance with tanking weapon and a shield. No big deal, though I did end up at the bottom of the DPS meter.
We, my fiancé and two friends plus a PUG warrior, managed to die three times on the first boss, both because of stupidity and because of bad luck/planning. We DID get him down though.
Second wipe happened at the room of the elementals when we managed to pull the elites above the stairs. A completely pointless death by the way.
At the second boss I died when he stomped me, but the other guys got us through it and we survived.
After that things went really well and we functioned like a well oiled machinery all the way through the third boss and halfway into the big room with the holodeck of planets when a Runewarder or something sliced me and my fiancĂ© open like ripe melons. Squish…
Then came Loken…
We knew how the boss would go, but we were still surprised by how hard his Lightning Nova hit us. Thus wipe the blood away and try again. Second try went a lot better, but just as he came to 7% health our healer croaked. We got him down to 3% before we had to bite the dust.
Third time’s the charm and we managed to get him down without a single death.
Through it all we only got crappy gear for a prot warrior. I managed to get a few loot things to sell, among them a blue dagger with a market value of 120G. I hope it sells, due to the 37,5G repair bill as well as the 58G cost of elixirs I used.
It was fun though…
Curious about my character? Check it out at the Armory (Gormash)

I finally fixed my screenrecorder and did a little test today to make sure it worked as intended. Here’s the result, a relatively short video of how my drawing process is.
A full comic is a lot more detailed and interesting, naturally, but the basics are the same. I go through sketching, linework, coloring and finally adding details and shading. In a real comic I’d not only have a lot more going on, but I’d have a predesigned template with all the layers ready for use as well as word bubbles and text.
Video is recorded in “Freez Screen Video Capture”, and the timelapse and audio added with “VirtualDub”.

No, not the crappy music thing, but the literal kind…
I’m sitting at home with a (for me) scorching degree of 38,9 Celcius (that’s a 102.02 Fahrenheit for you wacko americans), and swallowing down Ibux to be able to at least think coherently.
I’ve spent the majority of the day cleaning the house, which certainly hasn’t been helpful to my condition, and drawn a few sketches (you’ll see one below). I’m guessing I’ve caught something from one of the kids at the kindergarden where I work as several of them have been home sick with fever the past week. Just hope it’s not the oink-oink-flu. Not much chance of that, but it IS present…
As I promised, here’s one of four sketches that I did earlier today when my head wasn’t spinning like a bowling ball.
A crude sketch of a Tauren hillbilly…

A week ago I started using an iPhone/iPod Touch app called “Get running”. It’s a rather simple app that set up a schedule of when you run and for how long, asuming that you’re in a rather bad shape. Which I am…
I’ve never been much of a runner. Well, not much of ANYTHING active really, so my girlfriend and family are all shocked by this turn of events. Anyways, I’ve had four runs over the past week and the pace have just started to increase.
The weird part is that I’ve actually come to LIKE it. Hitting the chill evening air, just moving without any real purpose excepth to keep moving… It really frees up my mind.
Tonight’s run was no different. I spent almost half an hour thinking and rejecting ideas and punchlines for comics, and ended up with three ideas I can build on to and make something of. Not bad for thirty minutes I think.

Welcome to my own little playground. This comic/blog will be the place I use to dump all my weird and abnormal ideas and creations. As I’m an avid fan of videogames in general that’s going to be the focus of my comic.
As I’m relatively new to this whole “hosting my own site”, please feel free to contact me here or at gobosworld@gmail.com with suggestions, praise and critique. It’s all welcome. :)
